SEN Supply Teacher

The school

• Based in Worthing
• For children in KS1 to KS2
• Students with SEN, a range of complex needs
• Some students are working at a lower attainment but follow the national curriculum
• 10 – 15 students in each class, 4 TAs. 
• The school provides a lot of support to the students and reward them for good behaviour

The role

• Working Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:30
• Teaching a KS1/KS2
• Teaching a class size of 10-15
• Developing lesson plans that are suitable for varying abilities
• Managing challenging or disruptive behaviour

You

• Will have QTS with a primary specialism
• Confident SEN NQT’s/ECT’s are welcome to apply
• Will have a friendly and caring personality
• Will have the ability to build strong rapport with pupils

Job Type: Full-time, class cover opportunity ongoing due to long term illness. Potential of permanant later in year.

Salary: £120+ per day, but a personalised rate can be considered with experience, teacher’s pay scale and for the right candidate.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, term time only

Education:

• Primary Education, QTS, UK Qualification

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• QTS (required)
