Supply Teacher

SEN Cover Primary Teacher – Full-time – SEND School – Worthing, West Sussex. From January onwards, cover ongoing.

Our client is an outstanding Specialist SEND School catering for complex needs & disabilities. A good understanding & experience of working with SEND is desirable. ECT’s welcome to apply.

You must be a qualified teacher with PGCE, QTS or recognised equivalent.

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational individual to work with our client, an incredible school with proven track records in achieving high standards of quality.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Some planning & preparation of classroom materials
• Work closely with pupils to support their learning & development
• Promote and enable social development opportunities
• Manage classroom behaviour/needs of young people

The successful candidate will need to have experience in the following areas:-

• Creative approaches to learning in SEND
• An understanding or experience of the use of interventions within a SEND setting
• Willingness to learn & adapt to challenging situations
