A highly regarded secondary school in Haywards Heath is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established setting that prioritises student development and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing targeted support to students with SEND in a mainstream classroom setting
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and adapting learning materials
• Encouraging students’ engagement and confidence in their learning
• Supporting students with social and emotional needs, ensuring a positive school experience

Requirements:

✅ DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
✅ A patient and understanding approach to working with SEND students
