Are you an aspiring English Teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing Qualified Teacher Status? We are seeking an English specialist to work with large groups of secondary-age learners, supporting lessons and covering classes when required. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong academic background and a passion for education.

The Role:

• Support the delivery of engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4.
• Supervise and manage full classes in the absence of the teacher.
• Work closely with subject teachers to enhance student learning.
• Provide tailored support to students to boost their confidence and attainment.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

✔️ A 2:1 or higher degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject.
✔️ Experience in tutoring, full class cover, or similar educational roles.
✔️ Ability to confidently engage and manage groups of secondary-age learners.
✔️ A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔️ Up-to-date safeguarding training.
