Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? A warm and welcoming SEND primary school in Worthing is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team.
This wonderful school supports boys and girls with a range of complex SEND needs. Some children may require help with mobility, communication, emotional regulation, eating and drinking, and all need support with their learning. Some pupils may also present challenging behaviour, which can at times be physically aggressive.
We are seeking caring, patient, and resilient individuals who are passionate about helping children with SEND. Experience working with SEND—whether professionally or personally—is highly valued. You may have a background in care, teaching assistance, or personal experience supporting a sibling or family member with SEND.
Each class is unique, with different needs based on the children in it. If you are a compassionate and committed individual looking for a fulfilling role, we’d love to hear from you!
To be successful in applying for this position, you must be eligible to work in the UK or hold a relevant work visa.
Safeguarding, quality, and integrity are at the heart of what we do. Pink Tile is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within education. During the application process, you will be required to:
