About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3/KS4), fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to support all learners in achieving their full potential.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive academic success.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the science department.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
- Participate in staff training, departmental meetings, and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements:
We are seeking a teacher who has:
- A DBS check on the update service or prepared to obtain one.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to upholding high expectations.
- A passion for science and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
