Location: St Leonards | Pay Scale: MPS (if QTS) – dependant on experience for UQT

About the Role:
As an Art and Photography Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons in Art and Photography to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering creativity and technical skill development.
- Plan, prepare, and implement lessons that meet curriculum requirements while encouraging student engagement and artistic exploration.
- Maintain high standards of behavior management to create a positive, focused learning environment.
- Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in their creative studies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: QTS is preferred, but we also welcome applications from non-QTS candidates with significant teaching experience in Art and Photography.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Art and Photography at KS3 and KS4 levels is essential.
- Behavior Management: A strong track record of maintaining high standards of classroom behavior.
- DBS: Must hold a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service (this is essential).
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering creativity in young learners.
