Pink Tile Education are recruiting an Individual Needs Assistant to support individual needs (1:1) for our client, a fantastic, forward-thinking & ambitious school in Woking.  You will support the team in providing an opportunity for your designated young person to engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities.

This is a long-term, ongoing placement to make permanent for the right candidate.

£84pd minimum. 08:30 – 3:30

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one
• Resilience
• Understanding of vulnerable young people & how to approach sensitive situations
• Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
• Confident working with children & young people in SEN/SEMH
• Experience working with children & young people (desired)
• Experience working with children & young people in SEN (desired)

Responsibilities

• Support class teacher
• Support the pupils with their tasks/activities & wellbeing
• Understand the individual needs of each student & adapt the approach accordingly
