Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor – Large Secondary School, Chichester

We are looking for a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school in Chichester. This full-time, long-term role starts in October 2024, and is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with young people to step into a school setting. The position will run until July 2025.

About the Role:

• Position: Cover Supervisor.
• Start Date: October 2024.
• Contract: Full-time, long-term role until July 2025.
• Pay: £110 per day.
• Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure students remain on task.
  • Provide support and guidance to students during lessons.
  • Supervise students across various subjects and year groups, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.

Essential Requirements:

• At least 6 weeks’ experience working with children and young people in an educational, youth, or similar setting.
• A confident and adaptable approach to managing classroom environments.
• An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service.
• Current safeguarding training.
