Teacher of English (Full-Time, Long-Term) – Chichester

Are you a passionate English teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client secondary school in Chichester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting from October.

The Role:

As the Teacher of English, you will:

  • Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Foster a supportive and creative learning environment, enabling students to explore a range of literary texts, genres, and writing techniques.
  • Collaborate with the English department to create stimulating lesson plans and assess student progress in line with the school’s objectives.

Requirements:

  • Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching English in the UK is essential.
  • A valid DBS on the update service is required.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language, with a commitment to inspiring a love of reading and writing in students.

Pay Rate:
