Teacher of Food Technology (Full-Time, Long-Term) – Crawley

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology teacher looking for your next opportunity? Our client secondary school in Crawley is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Food Technology to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting from October.

The Role:

As the Teacher of Food Technology, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and hands-on lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, teaching students essential skills in cooking, nutrition, and food science.
  • Inspire creativity in the kitchen while maintaining a focus on health, safety, and hygiene practices.
  • Work closely with the Design and Technology department to develop exciting lesson plans and assess students’ practical and theoretical understanding of the subject.

Requirements:

  • Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching Food Technology in the UK is essential.
  • A valid DBS on the update service is required.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential to ensure student safety.
  • A passion for cooking, food education, and inspiring young people to explore healthy eating and nutrition.
