Primary Teacher – Year 5

Position: Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Redhill
Start Date: Monday, 4th November
Contract Type: Maternity Cover, Full-time

We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable primary teacher to cover maternity leave in our Key Stage 2 department. This role is ideal for a teacher looking to take on a short-term, rewarding position in a welcoming school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons for primary-aged pupils in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Provide targeted support to pupils to ensure progress is maintained during the cover period.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition for students during the cover term.
• Participate in school events and contribute to the school community as a whole.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record in primary education.
• Experience in Key Stage 2 is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a changing classroom environment.
• A positive attitude and commitment to pupil progress and well-being.
