Contract Type: Maternity Cover, Full-time
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 5 teacher to join our vibrant school community in Haywards Heath. This is a full-time position ideal for someone passionate about engaging and inspiring learners during this key stage of their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring every child receives the support they need to achieve their potential.
- Work closely with colleagues to foster a collaborative and positive learning environment.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
