The Role
We are looking for an exceptional teacher to:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages, fostering a love for mathematics in students aged 11–19.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to support all learners in achieving their potential.
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress.
- Build a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and resilience.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum and department initiatives.
- Participate in wider school activities, including intervention programs and enrichment opportunities.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and be qualified to teach Mathematics at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
- Be registered on the DBS Update Service with an enhanced disclosure certificate.
- Have up-to-date safeguarding training and a thorough understanding of child protection policies.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a proven ability to inspire and engage students.
- Show excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Be committed to professional development and creating a positive learning environment for all students.
