About the Role:
As an unqualified Geography Teacher, you’ll:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Inspire curiosity and a love for geography through creative and interactive teaching approaches.
- Support students’ academic progress and help them achieve their potential.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Follow the curriculum and contribute to the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
What You’ll Need:
- A strong understanding of geography and the ability to teach it with confidence.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for education.
- A DBS certificate on the update service or be prepared to obtain one (this is essential).
- Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
