Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Newhaven on a temporary basis. In this role, you will ensure that students remain engaged and continue their learning in the absence of their usual teacher. You will supervise classes, follow lesson plans, and support students to ensure their educational progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
• Follow and deliver lesson plans and activities provided by the absent teacher.
• Maintain discipline and manage student behavior in line with school policies.
• Provide support to students with their learning, offering guidance where necessary.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students during class time.
• Assist with administrative duties and contribute to the wider school community as needed.
