About the Role:
As an unqualified Geography Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, sparking curiosity and a love for learning.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student progress and wellbeing.
- Support students with varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a school setting is essential.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for Geography and education, with the ability to inspire young minds.
- Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- Qualifications: While formal teaching qualifications are not required, a strong academic background in Geography or a related field is preferred.
- DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to obtain one).
