As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining continuity of learning and helping students stay focused and engaged during teacher absences.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who can:
- Supervise classes and ensure students remain engaged with their work during teacher absences.
- Create a calm, productive, and positive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, ensuring students make progress.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a focus on learning.
- Offer support and encouragement to students, helping them stay on track with their studies.
Essential Requirements
- DBS certificate on the update service (this is essential).
- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for supporting students in their learning journey.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.
