About the Role:

As a Music Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering creativity and a love for music. Your role will involve creating opportunities for students to explore and develop their musical skills while ensuring every student is supported and challenged to achieve their best. Whether you’re leading practical music sessions or exploring music theory, your teaching will inspire students of all abilities to flourish.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a committed teacher who is passionate about music and education. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Qualifications:

    • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, but Unqualified Teachers (UQT) with some teaching experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

    • Strong knowledge of and experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Music is essential.

Requirements:

    • A valid DBS check registered on the Update Service or the willingness to obtain one.
    • Safeguarding training that is up to date or the willingness to complete training before starting the role.

Skills:

    • Enthusiastic, creative, and able to inspire students of all abilities.
    • Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach to teaching.

Salary:

  • MPS for teachers with QTS.
  • UQT salary range: £110 – £125 per day, depending on experience.
