Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with SEND, tailored to their unique needs and abilities.
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons and activities that address a variety of learning styles and abilities.
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to support students in achieving their academic and developmental goals.
Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a cohesive support network for students with SEND.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as needed.
Advocate for the needs of students with SEND within the school community and ensure they have access to appropriate resources and accommodations.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in the development of Individual Education Plans and other relevant documentation.

Requirements:

QTS or plenty of experienced in SEND/SEMH as an unqualified teacher
Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
A strength and experience with teaching English
Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies for accommodating diverse needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students with SEND.
