SEMH Teacher (Secondary) – Full-time, Long Term

Our client is an outstanding SEMH Specialist SEND School catering for associated behaviour needs. An excellent training and support package will be available for the successful candidate.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a qualified, enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our school, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. The post will offer the opportunity to contribute to the teaching and development of the newly established KS2 department in a purpose-built specialist unit attached to the school. Our client is a very successful KS2-4 SEMH school with particular strength in meeting the diverse needs of challenging students.

You will be an inspirational teacher and effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have the motivation to ensure that students not only receive a high-quality learning experience but also achieve their full potential. We are seeking to appoint a talented and committed teacher with the ability to

  • Be committed to improving literacy/numeracy together with social skills across the age and ability range of the school
  • Be passionate about improving life chances for SEMH students beyond school
This post would be suitable for experienced and recently qualified practitioners wanting to commit to the challenge of working to attain the highest possible achievement with students with behaviour that challenges.

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational individual to join our team with proven track records in achieving high standards of quality. Key areas of responsibility:

  • Working closely with pupils to support their learning. 
  • Promoting and enabling social development opportunities
SEMH Teacher – Full-time

The successful candidate will need to have experience in the following areas:-

  • Creative approaches to learning in SEND
  • An understanding or experience of the use of interventions.
  • Willingness to learn & adapt to challenging situations
  • Paid to scale
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, temp to perm
 

The staff team are tight-knit, friendly and very supportive. The staff team work hard to achieve outstanding outcomes with their pupils. The school site is a marvellous environment with state of the art facilities and resources which enable purposeful teaching and learning to take place.

All candidates must be prepared to undertake a DBS check unless they have a current DBS on the update service.
