Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a mainstream school setting? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Chichester. This is a full-time, temporary contract role where you can make a real difference in students’ lives.

About the Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with mainstream learners who have SEND requirements, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and personally. You will collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment where every student can reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring all students are fully engaged.
  • Support the social, emotional, and educational development of students.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEND team to develop individualized learning plans.

Must-Haves:

  • Experience: At least 6 weeks of experience working with children and young people.
